PayPal has been at the forefront of digital payments for over 20 years; they were looking to expand into the Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) sector—especially as it tapped into the Gen Z demographic post-covid. 
We produced an executive report and podcast that examines the challenges merchants and consumers face in the competitive landscape of pay-later providers. By analyzing the research, we identified key trends and takeaways on what drives consumer behavior and the implications for cashless payments.

 Illustration | The illustrations were key to articulating the shift in consumer behavior towards BNPL post covid. We worked with 
a Chinese illustrator, Jing Zhang, who was based in the U.K. Zhang specialized in long flowing pieces that visually narrated timelines—perfect for our requirements. Working with our new color palette her pieces seamlessly integrated into the layouts.
